Of course, I thought they were beneath me. Fancy parts are another one of those audio fetishes one finally gets over. But it can take a long time.

I had been using big clunky DUELUNDs in Rahul's SCG line stage. One of the DUELUND's leads broke off. One can dig into the plastic and uncover the leads - which I tried but something seemed wrong. These caps suffered many insults but I would caution folks to not bend the leads many times. Keep an inch from the body unmoved so you will have something to use if there is a break.

I remembered your yellow caps and used these to replace the DUELUNDs and have to say, after a few days of listening, I am certainly not noticing anything missing. If anything the highest frequencies are more there - not accentuated. I am in no hurry to replace them.
