Pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii bursts into tears when he plays at Carnegie Hall his own composition "Elegy for the Victims of the Tsunami of March 11, 2011 in Japan".
'A peaceful piece written in Major chord. Although it starts with minor chord, which makes it a bit sad at first, but then the composer slightly changes the melody to major tone, and makes the sadness subdued. Through melody, the pianist tried to tell us a sad story after the disaster of tsunami, but after the tears, the pains and losses he suffered, he still continues to live and keeps strong belief about future. What a moving and touching song.'
