We made it home just about an hour ago.After some scrubbing and a healthy amount of soap, we have managed to wash off both the Serbian, and more important the Hungarian trains. I will post more pics tomorrow, of the Serb, the Italian, the French, the Austrians, the Croatian, and whatever else we stumbled upon on our way.Magura

We went to Jelena and had a great dinner of gulash. There was Turos Csusza with it (pasta with cheese and bacon), a local produced white wine was added to the menu, so it was actually quite nice.Magura /who ate more than he should have.

Today it was in the mail, so I fired up the Donuts as they represent the most interesting image at hand.It turns out that the Donuts actually works as expected, everything is within approx. 1 degree C.Magura

That would sort out a problem that sure will arise, as they don't like the power transformer any place near the inductors.12 and 24V SMPS at 150W is quite cheap and common, and does not sport that issue.Magura

I guess that's right, at least from what I've heard.I've done so years ago with a couple of BOSOZ modules, it works rather well actually. Sometime in the future I will do so with a bunch of Drek modules. Magura

No, no, no, no, and no Now that you have finally begun having interest in real amps, you could as well make a real input selector for the pre section.You just build as many pre stages as you need inputs, and just one psu. Hook up one pre section to each input, and power the one you need. When you wanna switch input, you simply switch the power on, to the respective input section, and power down the one that you used previously. This way you get rid of relays / switches in the signal path, and we both know that sooner or later they're gonna cause trouble. Don't forget to divide the reference to ground, or you will get into trouble.Magura
