Nesa Djordjevic je meni radio sve JBL zvucnike. Ja zadovoljan.

Slazem se ali je cenovno izvan nase lige. Sa delovima izadje skoro 5x povoljnije. Moja pocetna ideja nije klon. Pobacu trosistemac sa 12" midbasom 2202. Dole ce ici 15k200 Beyma. 2216Nd je jako dobar driver ali previse para u ovom trenutku.

Treba da vec ima u ovoj temi. Stavio sam slike kada je stiglo.

Skupljam pare pa cu poruciti, nadam se u doglednoj buducnosti.

Nece propasti. Ispada da njihova pro divizija vec godinama nema rast dok npr. auto i mobile ima rast od 30%. JBL Consumer je prakticno mrtav. Surova realnost je takva, nove generacije hifi zanima kao lanski sneg.

Stanje se pogorsava : JBL (Harman Luxury) laid off 3 more employees yesterday. Their seniority totaled over 70 years. The big hit was Jerry Moro. Jerry's work is legendary and his transducers have been featured in most of my designs for years. He also has done transducers for Revel, JBL automotive product, some really fine subs used by Synthesis and JBL Pro just to name a few of his many, many accomplishments over the years. His latest products, not yet to market, are a pair of stunning in wall systems using a compression driver and horn. They still fit into a standard 4" wall. I worked with him on these products a bit before my demise. They are absolutely outstanding. So this brings an end to any world class engineers at JBL. Jerry and I were the last two. There are only 3 guys left and although they are competent, they are no where near the knowledge, success or capability of what they just dumped. The senior Model maker left last week to go elsewhere which means that Consumer no longer has any model making capabilities, either. It appears that this is the end for JBL was we have known it. The Lab equipment is in total disarray with much of it not working properly. If it weren't for Professional's need for and use of the lab, I doubt that it would function at all. There will be no more internal transducer development, no world class engineers, no more internal model making capabilities and no more real JBL product. It is just going to be me-too product copied from somebody else and designed and manufactured in China or equivalent. Hold on to your Vintage products and hope that you can find a way to get parts when things wear out. None of this will involve Harman any longer!

Najzad popunio do kraja Goldmund clone preamp. Ovih dana sledi testiranje.

Ja sa Mikijem imam veoma pozitivino iskustvo. Miki je moj komsija i naucio me je puno. Ima svojih bubica ali ko ih nema Dosta njegovih uredjaja smo slusali zajedno kod mene i zvuk je bio od solidnog do vrhunskog. Moja zamerka mu je sto ne napravi standardne modele vec stalno juri neke modifikacije.

Greg Timbers je postovao sledecu vest: I was unceremoniously separated from employment by Harman following a 90 second explanation. My position was eliminated! Following an explanation of benefits, I was escorted out. The timing came as a surprise and as such, I haven't thought about my future plans. While I don't need to work financially, I need to be active and challenged so I must figure out what makes sense for me going forward. To be clear, this is not what I wanted or deserved, but I will not comment further on details until a much later date. My decision, not theirs.It was a good run and I am very pleased that I have brought so many people enjoyment with the products I have developed over the last 4 decades. Neke od najboljih sistema na svetu je radio ovaj sada vec cikica. Kapitalizam u svojoj najgoroj formi osvaja svet. Nadam se da ce se Greg posvetiti malo i DIY zajednici i podeliti svoje bogato iskustvo.
