  1. I had a friend visiting me today. His first comment when he entered the living room was : Oh they're big!Now my first thought was : quit ogling her titsAfter some thought, I realized he meant the Donuts.Funny thing is, just like with tits, that when you see them every day, after some time they don't seem all that big.........it's just that all the other amps/tits seems soooo small :confused1: Magura :heh:

  2. Ok, let me try to mess with your Serbian slang....If you take the foil and twist the end into the shape of a round wire, it is possible to solder it using the solder mentioned above. If you play it smart, you nick the braided wire from a dead Dynaudio unit, as it is actually tinned aluminium. Thus you will be able to have respectable solder joints, both for the end where the foil is connected, and for the terminal end.Magura :confused1:

  3. Naah, just not that many options, when it comes to placing the system. Not that it makes any difference actually, but I too thought it would, so I measured the temp of the amp, once in place, and then moved away from the radiator....about 1C difference :( And now for something completely different: I have made a CLEAR photo. Mucho effort, but worked.Magura

  4. Thermal characteristics are about the same as of copper. Look up graphite, and you got it. The big deal is that it has higher thermal transfer capacity in the direction of the fibers, so you can make two components track quite well thermally. I can't remember the temp differences of the case to carbon heat spreader, but I'll measure that this evening. Why such interest all of a sudden? :( Magura

  5. sorry Metaldanske - I didn't realized that drek is bidirectional :buehehe: ; Sir got it already .ask for two evals :buehehe: .....

It sure smells like one of those Beringer thingies that I'm not allowed to have  Magura :good2:
  6. ya nutz ? :buehehe: why you need demo board of something which needs to be integrated on your mobo ?we'll be interested in continuing of that story - receiving side .

Sure I'm nutz, that's been confirmed frequently :buehehe: Demo board = fun toy. Simple really  Magura :good2:
  7. First 20Hz square into 8R. This is actually better than I expected it to be. I aimed for things going south below 30Hz, and even at 20Hz it's actually fair enough.Magura :buehehe:

Hmm, seems like me culpa. The square is not 20Hz, but 25Hz, which makes a lot more sense. According to the calcs I've made, it sure does not do 20Hz in a reasonable way.20Hz sine is no problem though.Magura :buehehe:
  8. This is how it clips. Obviously that could happen with a little more grace, but I am most likely never to find out how it sounds anyway, as it is somewhat overkill for my taste in speakers. So what the hell, it can clip as it pleases :buehehe: Magura :buehehe:
