If you play it smart, you nick the braided wire from a dead Dynaudio unit, as it is actually tinned aluminium. Thermal characteristics are about the same as of copper. Look up graphite, and you got it. The big deal is that it has higher thermal transfer capacity in the direction of the fibers, so you can make two components track quite well thermally.
