I am tackling my very first project, a raspberry pi magic mirror that also doubles as an apple airplay receiver. Right now I am trying to figure out a way to connect speakers to the raspberry pi that are compatible with the Shairport-sync software used to emulate an airplay receiver. I believer I need a USB DAC of some kind but I wanted to see if another option might work.
