Up amplifier (francuska PL X iteracija)

Recommended Posts

aha

RFB=392K/RIN=27K/ROUT=1K -> 22.1dB
RFB=392K/RIN=27K/ROUT=10K -> 23.1dB
RFB=392K/RIN=22K/ROUT=1K -> 23.7dB
RFB=392K/RIN=22K/ROUT=10K -> 24.8dB
RFB=499K/RIN=27K/ROUT=1K -> 23.9dB
RFB=499K/RIN=27K/ROUT=10K -> 25.1dB
RFB=499K/RIN=22K/ROUT=1K -> 25.5dB
RFB=499K/RIN=22K/ROUT=10K -> 26.9dB

imas to u simulatoru?

And the gain in all this? Ben as it is, it is about 23dB. But it can be modified easily by changing some resistances (ROUT, RFB and RIN these last two being the resistances of the reaction), and according to the simus one has:
RFB = 392K / RIN = 27K / ROUT = 1K -> 22.1dB
RFB = 392K / RIN = 27K / ROUT = 10K -> 23.1dB
RFB = 392K / RIN = 22K / ROUT = 1K -> 23.7dB
RFB = 392K / RIN = 22K / ROUT = 10K -> 24.8dB
RFB = 499K / RIN = 27K / ROUT = 1K -> 23.9dB
RFB = 499K / RIN = 27K / ROUT = 10K -> 25.1dB
RFB = 499K / RIN = 22K / ROUT = 1K -> 25.5dB
RFB = 499K / RIN = 22K / ROUT = 10K -> 26.9dB

So you can adapt it as you want. The choice between a 10K or 1K Rout (or any other intermediate value) will be done by ear, the repercussions being subtle and highly subjective.

Another possibility that is offered is to be able to choose between a local or global feedback by closing the loop at the output of the first stage (CR "local") or on the whole of the amp (global CR). Again, the choice is by ear, but to summarize, the local CR sounds a bit warmer than the global CR, offering a more in line with the Alephs X. But it is mainly a matter of taste perso: P. Note however that the local CR slightly decreases the gain, since the "gain" output mosfets (mounted followers, and therefore gain <1) is no longer offset by the loop of CR.

The first stage is powered at a voltage slightly higher than that of the power stage, just to make the most of possible voltage excursions, which naturally brings us to the ...

u prevodu...

Hello everyone,

yesterday my upgrade went to take a walk at Oo7livier who does not live very far from my home to evaluate the UPgrade against 2 standard Youpis (malza facade superb in passing). another forumer Ged23 was present too. listening was done on B & W 800D in a room big enough. I am going to let Olivier report on his feelings, but the verdict was final. the UPgrade won by knockout. not only the bass is better held but the medium and high benefit from improvements. on the medium level the instruments take more body (Gardot melody, I am a fool, the resonance of the guitar case (30s on the right) takes volume and material, the treble is globally softer / finer level. the image is also from my point of view more precise and the instruments more out of the way ... basically the feeling I had on my panels ended up on his system.

A ti razmisli kako.
